Additional updates will be shared as the DRI application process progresses. ![]() Resident and city administration feedback is being incorporated into Lackawanna’s DRI application by the city’s DRI grant consultant, Clark, Patterson, Lee (CPL) – which is due to NYS on Friday, September 23, 2022. ![]() If Lackawanna is approved for this latest round of DRI funding, there is the potential for the city to secure several million dollars in development funding.ĭuring the public session, residents shared ideas on a range of potential projects including business support, recreation and community development, public transportation, and streetscape/beautification initiatives, among others. On Tuesday evening, September 20th, about 40 Lackawanna residents gathered in Council Chambers at City Hall for a public information session to share their thoughts and ideas related to the city’s forthcoming application to New York State for a new Downtown Revitalization Initiative (DRI) grant.
